We’re planting the seeds of food science knowledge, one student and teacher at a time.

It all starts with teachers. Educators serve as a positive voice for the food industry. If we can help teach teachers about the science of food and careers in the food and flavor industry, they can bring that information back to their classrooms and impact even more students.

Our team members regularly visit classrooms, labs, and clubs at colleges and universities in the Baltimore and Chicagoland areas to share their industry expertise. These presentations give students a real-world look at careers in food science and manufacturing, straight from the professionals who live it every day.

McCormick collaborates with other food industry companies and organizations to host educational events that expand knowledge and opportunity across the field. These partnerships allow us to reach a wider audience and strengthen the pipeline of future food industry professionals.
